A pair of antique late Victorian porcelain dishes. The matching pair of oval shape with a pale primrose background painted with a central vignette of white orchids. Surrounding the central panel is a rich border of gilt painted grasses. The rims of each dish with further gilding and a repeating dot pattern. The backs with a factory mark for W.A. Adderley & Co.
