A Wonderful and Rare Complete Boxed Set of Antique Prosthetic Glass Eyes. These Medical Glass Eyes Were Used by Surgeons and Opthalmologists. Each Eye is Slightly Different in Size and Colour, Some Blue and Some Brown and Some Coloured Inbetween, They Even Have Very Fine Veins Painted on Them. There Were Many Incurable Eye Diseases in the Past, so a Prosthetic Eye Was Very Useful. They Are Housed in a Custom Made Antique Cardboard Box, One Eye for Each Section, Which Is Lined With Tissue Paper. Although Unsigned, They Were Probably Made in Germany in the Early 20th Century.
