This elegant lady's writing table, dating from circa 1900, is crafted from rich rosewood with delicate floral satinwood inlays. The rectangular top features an inset green leather writing surface with gilded tooling. It is uniquely designed with curved ends that open via hinged lids to reveal small enclosed storage compartments. A single long drawer with ornate floral inlay runs across the front. The table is supported by four slender tapering legs that terminate in original brass castors.
