This authentic Ruskin Pottery vase is a fine example of the crystalline glazes developed by Howson Taylor in the early 20th century. The elegant, high shouldered form is enveloped in a multifaceted glaze that transitions from a pale creamy blue at the neck to a deep, mottled turquoise and ochre towards the base. Large, snowflake like zinc crystals are visible within the glaze, a result of the controlled cooling process in the kiln. Makers Mark To Base.
