An unusual antique early 20th century painted wooden anatomical model of a human heart. Made up of hinged sections that open up. It is relistically painted with valves and arteries which are numbered. The heart is mounted on a ebonised wood stand with an ivorine name plate to the base of (James) Woolley Sons & Co. of Manchester. They made pharmacutical items from 1833 to 1936. The heart and stand are presented on a round wood and velvet stand under a glass dome. Stock Code: 3728.
