An excellent vintage 1960's or 1970's Welsh pure new woollen tapestry blanket. The pattern is known as Caernafon, and sometimes Portcullis design. It is a double sided blanket with a black ground with pink, yellow and orange colours and tassels. It was made at the DERW mill in Pentrecwrt in Wales. The Caernafon design dates back to the 18th century, and was reintroduced in the mid 20th century. It retains its original makers label. Stock Code: 3973.
