This distinctive West German pottery vase was produced by Scheurich in the circa 1970s as a creative homage to the prehistoric cave paintings at Lascaux, Montignac. The rectangular, flask like vessel features a heavily textured, volcanic fat lava glaze in earthy shades of grey and white, replicating a rugged stone wall.
