As well as the hundreds of thousands of visitors who have previously passed through the doors every year, Hemswell Antique Centres work with many corporate clients, both domestic and international. However, in these unprecedented times of heavily restricted international travel and social distancing, our clients have had to rethink their way of purchasing and we have responded with a new and innovative way of taking our products to them, wherever in the world they are.
For hoteliers, interior designers and project managers of large commercial projects, the need to source and acquire goods has not disappeared, but it has become difficult. The clients who would have previously visited are no longer able and are understandably hesitant to invest sight unseen. However, using the latest in mobile, hand-held technology, we are able to offer clients virtual, accompanied tours of our centres. Our managing Director, Robert Miller will show you around the centres, stopping at any items of particular interest which he can then show you in close-up, while providing a more detailed description. The advantage for the client is being able to make purchasing choices without even leaving home, which is both personal and efficient, with the added benefit of knowing that shipping requirements will also be handled by our experienced staff.
These live virtual shopping tours are proving extremely popular and, to date, clients in Ireland, Taiwan, the US and the UK have benefitted from this new service.
While nothing will ever replace the personal touch of meeting clients in person, and walking side by side with them as they view products, our virtual shopping tours have enabled clients to continue their businesses in the safest way possible.
