Welcome to my Hemswell Antique Centres web page you will find my dealer display in cabinet 31 in The Guardroom.

I’m Ian, an ‘expat’ who left Manchester in 1974, worked  8 years in Holland, 37 years in Texas and retired to Germany in 2015. The majority of items in my showcase adorned my Texas home and were sourced from US antique malls.

Recently I’ve begun to appreciate and acquire Scandinavian art glass and German Fat Lava pottery.

Sensing it was time to let others enjoy my treasures, ‘The Guardroom’ and classy Hemswell Team have provided me with great support and perfect UK location for my new adventure as a Seller.

After a 280 mile drive from Northern Germany to Rotterdam, a 240 mile ferry crossing to Hull then a leisurely 60 mile drive to Hemswell,  I bring you my offerings (and clue as to my business name).
