I am an independent Interior Designer and Project Manager with over 20 years of experience delivering innovative design solutions across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail sectors.

During lockdown, I noticed how ‘brown’ furniture – solid, beautiful antiques – was being overlooked by auction houses and charity shops simply because it was considered drab. These timeless pieces, which will never be made again, were being discarded, burned, or chopped up. In a world obsessed with fast, disposable goods, I felt the need to do something about it. I decided to learn decoupage, a technique that allows you to use any wallpaper to transform the look of furniture according to your taste and design.

I’m on a mission to help revive these vintage pieces and make them appealing to a younger generation. Instead of contributing to throwaway culture, I want to show how we can breathe new life into old furniture and make it meaningful again. I now host workshops to teach others this craft and also take commissions to transform their own pieces.
