Welcome to Yorkshire handmade fine furniture. You will find our double size pitch in building 1, upstairs in room 8, as you use the front stairs. We specialise in high end, fine quality, handmade furniture from the “Yorkshire Critters” A group of craftsmen mainly originally trained by the famous Robert “Mouseman” Thompson and after his passing in 1955, starting their own businesses. Think, Acornman, Gnomeman, Oakleafman, Beaverman etc. Usually crafted and handmade and carved in oak, fumed (coloured) to either light, medium, or dark oak. Each of our pieces has been hand picked by us for its quality, beautiful appearance and presence to grace your home and last you a lifetime. We also have some items we judge to be of merit and beauty alongside our usual stock. We carefully restore all of our items sympathetically in our own workshop while maintaining its glorious patina. Look out for the history of each craftsman displayed on each and every relevant piece of furniture. All of our pieces should offer a fine investment in these uncertain times.
