Tim Wonnacott’s career included 25 years as an auctioneer and Expert at Sothebys specialising in all the Decorative Arts and in particular Works of Art ( Silver, Bronzes, Ceramics, decorative objects including Textiles)  but with a particular focus on Furniture. This broad spread of knowledge enabled Tim  after Sothebys to  successfully  present  BBC TV programmes about antiques and for nearly 14 years ( and 1400 programmes) on each Bargain Hunt Show Tim would either visit a Stately Home and reveal treasures or go out into the fair and “Find” an object to discuss with the audience. During this time Tim’s client base expanded and many of these clients have asked him to “Curate” their collections alongside some pieces from his private collection and put them on the market rather than just parcelling them up for auction.  And where better to showcase “Tim Wonnacott’s Curated Collections “ than at Hemswell Antiques Centre the largest ( and many would argue the best!) antiques Centre in the UK. If you are unable to make it to Hemswell each item is photographed and described on the selling website which backed up by quick and efficient packing and shipping which  makes buying distantly simple, safe and very satisfactory.
