20th Century Antiques

Even though this is the page for the 20th Century items, you will find Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau pieces from the late 19th / early 20th Century, including good quality furniture by Liberty's and Morris amongst others, and metalware by W.A.S Benson, Christopher Dresser and the like. There is plenty of choice when it comes to Art Deco, with walnut furniture, chrome lighting and peach mirrors, and a large amount of pottery and glass from contempories such as Clarice Cliff, Burleigh, Moorcroft & Lalique. Moving on to the up and coming Retro style, you will find collectable pieces by Poole, Midwinter, Troika and Whitefriars Glass.

After the 'fussy' Victorian era, the Edwardians brought us in to the 20th Century with inlaid furniture of a simpler design.
