The brass central columns are embossed with the very attractive Greek/Grecian Key Pattern or Meander Design. Standing on very well designed chunky Cast Iron bases, flowing with a lovely Acanthus design.
This pair or candlesticks are high quality pieces of design and casting with classic brass embossed styling manufactured 1886-1887 during the Victorian Aesthetic Period.
The condition is remarkably good for a used item of 130+ years, they display beautifully.
