Group of Four Antique Chinese Nanking Cargo Teabowls and Saucers. They Were Made in Jingdezhen, and Along With Many Other Porcelain Items They Were Exported by the Dutch East Indies Company on the Ship Geldermalsen From Nanking, Bound for the Netherlands. The Ship Sank in the South China Sea in 1752, and Was not Discovered Until 1985 by Captain Michael Hatcher. The Contents Were Put up For Auction by Christie's in 1986 in Amsterdam. These Four Teabowls and Saucers Come From That Auction. They Are Decorated in Underglaze Blue in the Blue Pine Pattern. Each Piece Has the Original Christie's Label.
