Description
Friedrich Deusch Tirschenreuth porcelain cup and saucer. A very fine white-ground octagonal shaped cup and saucer exquisitely decorated with a trellis adorned with swags of roses in thick silver overlay. The silver is stamped 1000/1000 to the lower aspect of the trellis on the cup and to the reverse rim of the saucer. Circa 1960’s/70’s. Tirschenreuth porcelain was an independent business from 1838 until it was acquired by Hutschenreuther Porcelain Company in 1927, since 2000 part of the Rosenthal porcelain group now.
The cup is 4.5cm tall and 6.5cm across the rim, the saucer is 11cm across and the whole set weighs 120g.
Good condition, minor age wear.
