Description
Friedrich Saphr Schäbisch Gmünd cup and saucer. A striking Hutschenreuther porcelain ‘Modernist inspired’ cup and saucer. The blue ground is decorated with a simple yet, extremely effective line design in pure silver overlay. The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the rim of the cup close to the handle. The Hutschenreuther porcelain marks used between 1939-64.
The conical shaped cup is 5.5cm tall and 6.75cm across the rim, the saucer is 11.5cm across and the whole set weighs 130g.
Good condition, minor age wear.
