Description
Late 19th century Wedgwood Majolica silver plate mounted lidded jug. Majolica and Thomas Harwood Brown and green jug. Sphinx to the top of the angular handle with mask to the spout, the exterior banded with a silver strap and splashed in Tortoishell glazes in shades of ochre, green and brown. Circa 1875. Makers marking to the base.
