Description
A Rare Antique Group of Awards to the Winner of the Best Baker in France in 1906. The Awards Were Presented to Jacques Mathieu Richelmi, He Won Them in Paris and Marseilles in the Competition. The Medals are Honneur Au Merite Marseilles in Gilt Metal with Ribbon. Also Two Medallions, One in Bronze, and the Other in Copper. They are the Musee de Travail et de la Mutualite Paris and a Republique Francaise Medallion From the Exposition in Marseilles. All Three Awards are in a Custom Made Wooden Glass Fronted Frame with Suspension Rings. A Typed Note Within the Frame Also States the Winner Was the Father of Mathild Goldsmith, She Lived in Horsham in West Sussex. There is Also an Original Printed Business Card for Jacques Mathieu Richelmi Illustrating His Awards and the Address of His Bakery in Nice in the South of France.
