Description
An excellent early 20th century brass reading lamp, by Sperryn & Co.
An incredibly well made lamp, every element produced in-house with great attention to detail and design. Everything still works beautifully and is adjustable in many ways. It is an early example, and was retailed between 1919 & 1932 so its age can be accurately determined to this period.
Sperryn & Co became part of 'British Brass Fittings Ltd in 1919, the Sperryn & Co retail shop in Bristol closed in 1932
This is a reading lamp and is too short to be a floor lamp.
Condition Report:
Perfect. It has been re-wired, with the original light fitting reused.
