Description
This is a Pair of Extremely Rare Antique Iron Slave Shackles from the Late 18th or Early 19th Century. They are Known as Crab Rattle Shackles. Crab Because of Their Shape, and Rattle Because Each One Contains Metal Balls Inside Them. If the Slave Attempted to Run Away, Then the Rattling Sound Helped Locate the Runaway Slave. They Were Probably Made in Africa.
