This Letter is From the Famous Corsini Correspondence. Bartholomew Corsini Was an Italian Merchant Living in London in the Late 16th and Early 17th Century. This Paper Letter is Dated 1585 and is Addressed to Him in the City of London.
About 3,500 Letters Were Sold by the Corsini Family in the 1980's, and This is One of Two I Own. The Letter is Written in Italian, and is About the Trade of Goods. The Front with Merchant Guild Mark Which Shows Evidence of an Efficient Postal System Set Up by Merchant Families of the Period.
It is a Fascinating and Important Early Letter During the Reign of Elizabeth I, and is Over 430 Years Old.
