Description

A Very Nice Burgundy Leather Antique Mid 19th Century British Passport. The Outside with Gilt Lettering of Passport and the Name Joseph Knapp. It Was Issued on the 20th July 1854 by the Foreign Office, to British Subject Joseph Knapp Who Was to Travel on the Continent Accompanied by his Wife Annie Mactavish Knapp. It is Signed Clarendon for the Earl of Clarendon.
It Contains Various Official Stamps and Handwritten Text.
A Few Pages on is a Note to Say That Joseph Knapp Died on the 13th February 1858 and is Buried in Montreal. His Wife Annie Mactavish Knapp Died 23rd May 1897 and is Buried at Le Vallois-Perret, Paris.
