Description
A superb Art Deco Clarice Cliff hand painted and honey glazed Autumn Crocus Athens shaped water jug from the 1930s Bizarre range. Good used condition with no cracks evident. Some age wear to the paint work with the usual discolouration/fading to the honey glaze and a few firing pin marks. Still has strong colours and defined brush strokes. The octagonal base on the underside is scuffed and worn. The Bizarre by Clarice Cliff Wilkinson Ltd signature stamp is on the base.
