Description
A large Clarice Cliff bowl in the 1930s hand painted and honey glazed Rhodanthe pattern raised on three finned feet. The Bizarre by Clarice Cliff signature stamp is on the base. Good used condition with no cracks or chips evident. Some scratch wear and crazing indicative of age. There are signs of historic restoration around the firing 'pin' marks to the interior when held up to bright light. The colours are still vibrant with strong defined brush stokes to this rarely found piece from the Art Deco period.
