Description
Superb Clarice Cliff hand painted and honey glazed Windsor teapot in the 1930s Autumn Crocus pattern. Good used condition with minor age wear and under glaze staining which I have tried to show in the photos. The spout has blemishes at the tip which could be a build up of honey glaze (see photo). The crocus flowers retain good colouring with strong defined brush strokes. The A J Wilkinson Ltd Royal Staffordshire Pottery stamp is on the base over stamped with the Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery signature stamp in gold.
