Description
Superb early 20th Century extendable oak fireplace fender with carved side plinths. The fender is in 3 separate sections and can be extended or shortened for your chosen fireplace hearth by sliding each piece into the central joining block. The original protective metal sheet on the fireplace side of each section is still intact (a bit rusty). Good used condition with minor age wear adding to the character and patina. Date circa 1920s.
