Description
English regency bracket clock by Sowter of Oxford. Mahogany and brass strung case over an oak frame, brass ball feet with brass sound frets . The case with ebony embellishments and brass inlays. Original brass handles at the sides. Eight day double fussee movement with five pillar to plates striking on a bell, pull repeat. Convex dial and glass. c 1815-20.
