Description
French silvered and gilt bronze mantle clock with the case having extensive pictorial porcellaine panels in Jappanese style,with decoration depicting birds amongst foliage. Acanthus plinth and segmented bun feet with carved and gilt wood stand.
Porcellaine dial stamped Goldsmiths Co. the retaillers. Movement stamped Marti well known French clockmaker whose address was ,Vielle Du-Temple from 1870-1890 .Movement striking the hours and halves on a bell.
