Description
Set of 12 vintage Copes Racegoer’s Encyclopaedias from 1949 to 1954. Then 1956 - 1960 and then 1962. Set includes one book titled “Coronation Year”.
Published by Cope Publication Limited of London in 1954. Cope's Racegoer's Encyclopedias appeared for the first-time in 1939. These hardcover first edition books are in good condition with burgundy cloth boards, gilt titles to spine and front boards. Boards do show signs of wear and the colour of the spines have faded on some books. Inside pages are in good condition. No dust jacket available with these. Signs of use but not too much. Great collectors pieces for those with a passion for horse racing.
