Famous WW2 German Forgery Set of British Banknotes

A Full Set of Four British Banknotes That Were Produced by the Nazis in WW2. It was Called Operation Bernhard, Named After Major Bernhard Kruger an SS Officer in the Sachenhausen Concentration Camp in Germany. They are £5, £10, £20 and £50 Notes. The Idea Was to Make the Banknotes in Order to Help Finance the War in Germany. They Produced These Notes Using Jewish Camp Prisoners From 1942 to 1945. It Has Been Estimated that Between £132 Million and £300 Million Were Made. Although They Were Deemed to be Very Accurate Forgeries, the Plot Was Foiled. In Early 1945 The Germans Stopped Making the Forgeries, and Ordered the Banknotes to be Destroyed. Many Were Not, and They Were Boxed Up and Dumped in a Lake in the Austrian Alps. Recovery of the Notes Began in the Late 1950's.
Despite These Being Excellent Forgeries, There are Subtle Differences Between The Genuine Notes and These Ones, Mainly Based Around the Image of Britannia's Head, and the Shape of the Dots Around the Denomination.
