"L'Amore Nei Planeti Del Nostro Sistema Solare - Mars" ( Love in the Planets of the Solar System - Mars) by Bruna X (1937-2007) an original oil painting on canvas.
Bruna X, A leading Italian artist of the 1960's and 1970's in the Futurist, Abstract and Spiritual Expressionist genre was born Pasqualina Bruna Franceschini near the Adriatic city of Pescara on 29th. March 1937.
She exhibited widely in Europe including Rome and Geneva.
28 full- colour paintings by Bruna X are illustrated in Giovanni Binni's narrative poem book "Quando I Galli Cantano" dedicated to the Apollo 11 moon landing - and Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon who was sent the book used his influence to arrange for a copy to be included in the specific cultural items left in sealed capsules on the lunar surface by the team of Apollo 16.
In the autumn of 1976 shortly after her controversial exhibition of "Eva" portraits at Lo Scorpione Galleria D'Art Moderna in Milan, Bruna X to all intents and purposes disappeared and devoted the rest of her life to her religious calling.
Only after 30 years would she finally agree to the release of over 2200 of her works covering her career spanning more than four decades.
In the town of Forli in the early hours of March 9th. 2007 she left this world to continue her mission in the afterlife.
