Description
Victorian still life oil painting on canvas initialed T. W . and dated 1861 for Thomas Worsey. Born Birmingham 1829 where he lived until his death in 1875. A charming subject of flowers and fruit. Acknowledged by critics and patrons for his freshness and delicacy. Exhibited 1856-1874 at the Royal Acadamy, 1854-1874 at British Institute and 1858- 1867 Portland Gallery.
