Description
Early 20th century Edwardian period metamorphic table created from warm golden oak having a central turned baluster with a sweeping tripod base is of a compact size. The table top is of metamorphic form giving it a versatile use for any occasion; the top can be used as lectern having a book stop and an adjustable raising mechanism for the perfect reading position or when not in use the book stop can be removed from its brass supports to convert to an occasional table. The table is 79cm tall with five adjustable positions making it 104cm at its tallest; the top is 40cm deep and 49cm wide with a beautiful warm golden oak colour. As an antique table with working pieces and versatile use it has mellowed with age surviving in remarkable condition free from excessive wear or restoration.
