Description
A Wonderful Quality Antique Victorian Embroidery of Mary Queen of Scots. The Full Length Image of Mary Dressed in All Her Finery is Well Excecuted in Fine Threads of Yellow, Green, Pink, White and Gold with the Addition of Tiny Pearl Accents.
It is Framed in a Dark Red Tortoishell Effect Surround with Gold Painted Rim, and Carved Wood with Edge Detail, and is Glazed.
On the Back are Old Handwritten Notes, Stating Mary Queen of Scots after Grippenhagen. Embroidered by Mrs J Creaghe. Also, Written is the Statement, I Leave This to Col. Leathardt Rae. Someone Has Then Added Underneath B. Denise Rae.
Metal Hanger Attached.
Dimensions are for the Framed Image.
