Description
A Wonderful and Rare Group of Four Silver Statuettes in the Form of Miners. They Appear to be 19th Century Figures Possibly Gold Rush Era Men, and Probably American. Each Figure is Holding a Different Tool Such as a Pickaxe, Shovel etc.
Each One is Mounted on a Turned Ebony Wood Column. It is Possible They Came off of a Large Trophy, and Were at Some Point Removed and Mounted on the Wooden Stands.
Although the Figures are Unmarked, They Test as Silver.
They are Very Detailed and Beautifully Cast Models, and Would Look Great on a Gentlemen's Desk.
