Description
An Amazing Pair of Antique Victorian Silver Twin Handled Bowls of Large Size. Probably Made in Portugal About 1850. Each Bowl of Rounded Rectangular Form, Sitting on Integral Bases with Four Eagle Supports and Bun Feet. Acanthus Leaf Scroll Handles. The Interior to Each is Gilded, They are Probably Sugar Bowls. There are Hallmarks to Each with Initials of 'AGS' Stamped Underneath the Bowl, But Above the Plinth. There are Also a Few Very Small Hallmarks Which Appear to be a Weevil, This is an Import Mark for France. Total Weight is 1.53kg
