Description
Standing 2.2cm tall and 4cm in diameter and featuring a fine gilt metal lyre clasp the lidded pot has been hand enamelled with roses and foliage to the domed lid with a further foliate border to the base pot circumference and internal foliate detail to both the base pot and lid. To the bottom is a under glazed signature along with “hand painted” in French with Limoges. The pot is Gilt metal mounted featuring a beaded border and Lyre clasp.
Presented in excellent original condition with no cracks, chips or restoration there is aged patina to the gilt metal mounts. The hinge is straight and fully working and the lid closes fully and the clasp is working.
