Description
This is a black silk handheld fan believed to date from the early 20th Century.
It has a pale blue and gold floral embroidery design and gold decoration on each rib, including the end ribs (aka sticks).
There is a brass loop holding or hanging ring, and the fan comes in its original box, which is decorated on the padded lid.

- There is some wear to the back of the fan and slight damage to the material. this is illustrated in the photographs. The embroidery is in good condition, with no apparent chips, breaks, or losses to the ribs, and the folding mechanism works as it should.
