Description
Antique Circa 1885 Silver Pair cased Fusee Pocket Watch in good working order & serviced. It is key wind and set (Key Included).
The movement is in good clean working condition. It has a good swinging balance and chain running the full length of its chain keeping good fusee time for a watch over a 100 years old.
The movement is signed by Geo Sheppard of ELLON.
Both the watch cases and pair case are marked to the inside with Chester silver hallmarks for 1885 and the makers mark appears as (C.H) Charles Harris.
The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and gold-coloured hands with steel sub-dial, it has no chips or staining and just a couple of very faint hairlines you may need an eye glass. Fantastic condition for age.
The dial and domed dial glass are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks with a few aged marks.
Both cases are clean and bright and have worn as to their age with the watch covers closing but slightly loose. The watch measures 43mm excluding crown and its pair case 51mm.
Complete with Key & with retailer's advertising paper in back of case.
