Description
An Early Victorian Walnut & Rosewood Cross banded and with the addition of brass line inlay Tripod Table. The Table stands on "S" scroll legs and is in good condition retaining all its original elements and of a good colour. Cross banding is a decorative technique used in furniture making where thin strips of wood, known as crossbands are applied to the surface of a piece of furniture to create a decorative border or inlay popular betwween the 17th to the 19th Century.
